In answer to some questions, yes: If you find these characters interesting, the entire body of the first two books is available online, for free, at The Five Dollar Mail

Granted, it's not heavily edited and polished, and does not contain the special artwork that is reserved for the finished product. It's in blog format.  But it's the same version of the story that's in the process of being made available for purchase. And you can read it online for free right now if you like. And there's a little fanfic and fan art and the occasional seasonal short story that won't be showing up in either book.

I know that sounds counter-intuitive. There's a long story between the time I started this thing and now that I won't bore you with. But if you like a character-driven adventure-romance story  that doesn't follow the same-old-same-old format, feel free to come over and hang out a bit.
